Description:

This panel presentation will provide a summary of preimplantation genetic testing options, indications for testing, and summarize current federal policy on funding for PGT.

Objectives:

At the end of the session, participants will be able to:

• Summarize the fertility work up and different genetic conditions associated with fertility issues.
• Classify different preimplantation genetic testing (PGT) options.
• Restate importance of including family members for PGTM.
• Describe the clinical relevance for mosaics.
• Summarize the current federal policy on funding for PGT, and the experience in PGT-M funding in Quebec.
